Enjoy Denver Arts Week 2019

If you need to get out of your student housing in Denver, CO and see the sights for a bit, the perfect event is coming up for you this November. The annual Denver Arts Week makes its return from November, and it’ll be a great opportunity to get out and see what the city’s vibrant cultural and artistic scene is all about:

“Denver Arts Week, Nov. 1–9, 2019, is a nine-day celebration of all things art in The Mile High City, featuring more than 300 events at a wide variety of art galleries, museums, theaters and concert halls, many of which are deeply discounted. Please check back for updates on events and activities.”

There’s going to be a lot going on during those nine exciting days, so to get you prepared, we’ve decided to highlight some of the coolest events that will be taking place, and the awesome ways you can get in on the action and have a great time.

The Best of Denver Arts Week

There’s a lot for you to zero in on when it comes to Denver Arts Week, but one of the biggest draws will be taking place on November 2nd, when you’ll have free access to some of Denver’s finest museums. From 5:00PM to 10:00PM that evening, you’ll be able to get into some of the city’s most well-regarded cultural and scientific institutions without paying a cent, and the list is a rather impressive one:

All that, and the museums are still just part of the fun that’s going on during Arts Week. You’ll have a chance to check out some riveting gallery exhibits during the First Friday Art Walk, see some films during the concurrently running Denver Film Festival, venture on a few public art tours, and learn more about Denver’s history as a world-class beer city. There are plenty more events on the list too, so be sure to check them all out and find the ones that interest you the most!
