Awesome Black Friday Steals

A young couple in a store examining flatscreen televisions for sale

We’ve already found our way into November and students living in apartments for rent in Lodo Denver realize that the holiday shopping season is upon us and Black Friday is right around the corner. It’s truly an amazing time of year if you’re looking to buy incredible holiday gifts for your friends and family members and coworkers.

At the same time, these Black Friday sales are so unbelievable that it might be worth it for you to pick up some new things just because the savings is completely outrageous. Some items are so inexpensive on Black Friday that students will practically feel like they’re stealing them because the prices are so low.

Do you know what items tend to go on sale for very little money on Black Friday? If not, you are in for an amazing treat because we’re about to tell you of some of the best Black Friday holiday steals that you can get your hands on. So if you need any of the items that we’re about to mention and you plan on buying them now, we recommend holding off for another few weeks and picking them up on Black Friday because you could literally end up saving 50% or more because the deals are so fantastic.

Does that sound like a plan? Stick around if you live in Denver and you plan to take advantage of the Black Friday sales but don’t know what’s best to shop for. We’ll tell you about four items that they practically give away on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

1. Televisions

If you plan to buy a new TV now or want to buy one in the near future, you’re better off waiting until November 23, 2018 because that is the day that Black Friday lands this year. Electronics are typically a huge seller on this shopping holiday, and many dedicated shoppers recognize that they can get their hands on low-cost electronics if they are willing to put in the effort at retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy to get the best deals.

Personally speaking, without realizing it I walked into a Best Buy a couple of days before Black Friday to visit the Geek Squad to see if they could fix a laptop when I was a student. While there, they already had their Black Friday sales in effect and they were selling 40 inch TVs for $150. This was a few years ago and TVs are already more advanced than the one I purchased back then, but it was a top-of-the-line TV at the time that they practically gave away because it was more than half price off.

In fact, on average you could end up saving 60% or more if you wait to buy TVs and other electronics on Black Friday. So this is definitely a good time of year to buy them because you’ll get low-cost videogame systems, televisions, computers, and so much more for incredibly low prices.

2. Smart Phones

Next on the agenda are smart phones. Students know how expensive it can be every time Apple puts out the latest version of the iPhone. The most recent iPhone X cost $1000 or more when it first came out. But if you are willing to wait until Black Friday, you can find some of the best Samsung Galaxy phones and iPhones on the market for a fraction of the cost.

More than likely, you’ll be able to get access to these great deals if you are willing to join a particular wireless plan. As long as the wireless plan isn’t too expensive, taking advantage of these great savings is definitely worth it because you could literally spend hundreds of dollars less for your phone which is certainly a good thing.

3. Clothing

On Black Friday, students might think that people are purchasing electronics more than anything else, but they’d be wrong. Believe it or not, people are buying clothing more than anything on Black Friday because the deals are incredible and the prices are so low that it practically feels like they’re giving this stuff away.

Retailers like )Macy’s and JCPenney and Sears provide discounts that are so low that students can actually save what feels like a ton of money just by shopping on Black Friday and all throughout the weekend. Remember, Black Friday isn’t just a single day event any longer. More often than not, many stores are now opening on Thursday night – Thanksgiving – and holding their sales all weekend long. So if you don’t want to rush out of your house to try and get the best deals, you could still end up saving a small fortune shopping on Black Friday weekend because the sales are incredible, but sometimes the inventory is sorely lacking.

4. Toys

Toys are also a big hit during Black Friday sales. But this year it might be a little harder to find the best bargains because Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us went out of business. They used to offer amazing deals for all of their customers where you could literally get things for 40 to 50% off.

But students shouldn’t give up hope because there are still plenty of other options to get great toys for your kids. Visit your local Walmart, Target, or Kohl’s to check out their amazing specials. These toy Isles are brimming with fun things that kids love and the prices are often too good to pass up, which makes this the ideal opportunity to go Christmas shopping for your kids.
